Engineering FAQ: Industrial UAV Electric Propulsion

No. Yuntu does not supply bare motors for user-fabricated ducts. Electric ducted propulsion requires sub-millimeter tip clearances (≤0.5mm), dynamic modal stiffness, and aerodynamic lip profiling that cannot be realized with 3D-printed or non-structural housings. Operating high-power motors in unvalidated ducts causes rotor blade strikes and thermal failure. Yuntu delivers factory-integrated, bench-tested units exclusively.
